Pioneer AVH-P7500 takes a dump

hey guys

i got this deck for about 6 months and yesterday the display stopped working but the tuner, CD/ TV, basically everything still works but the screen is all black. Today i was messin with the detachable face and it worked again so i thought it was juss loose or something, then when i got in my car again the screen doesnt work. Cant figure out what it is, i think ill have to send it in for waranty but does anyone know that this might be a common prob or what it might be? any suggestions are appreciated...thanks

do you detach the faceplate alot?? try rubbing alcohol on the contacts.. if that doesnt work .. dont *** with it.. send it out. those screens are sensitive to anythnig and everything. i had the 6500 and blew the interior speaker out chip or whtever it is so easily. good luck..

blake

no i never detach the face....

its weird cause if it was an intermittent prob i would think i could get it to work for a lil bit. Everything on the deck works fine and normal. the touch screen still works too but the display is all black...this sucks...gotta send the crap back. waranty takes forever
