I wanna say something... a 6 speed maxima is off the hook!!! he f*ck me up sooooo bad and he raced 3-4 cars and won!! now i know why i want a 6 spd max so bad... you guys lucky with 6 spd maximas!!! that guy got a Greddy exhaust and stillen intake... I like Greddy exhaust tho, it sounds very nice!!!

I had to look all over the eastern seaboard to find my 6MT. I am glad that I took the time to not settle and get exactly what I wanted.

How did he F you up so bad with only an cat back exhaust and intake? I know he is a 6 speed but you have all that with a B pipe and more.

 

i raced him two times... first time we were side by side until ~65 miles and when
he changed gear... he said bye bye!!! second time i started from "2" so we were side by side but my friend was screaming "a cop" so i stoped it right there...
but cop nowhere... lol

who knows man... but i know one thing 6 speed maximas are pretty fast and im 90% sure that they can beat me!!! my next mod will be pulleys so we will see after that

you sure he isn't spraying? i am not sure of you are stick or auto but if you are stick, then his 6th gear will in no way make that much of a difference...

 

In my FULLY modded 2000 5 speed, I got blown away by 6 speeds every time. I am not at all surprised..

 

Yeah, even with 75shot of you still got by the 6spd.

 

Yeah, that was without bottle heater, fuel pressure gauge, etc.... I would have won with proper tuning. But without spray, no way.......

I run side by side with other 02 with stick, and I have an auto! I keep mine in 3rd untill I just hit the red. They have never pulled away from me. Also I ahve no mods! ...... yet

seriously though i often dont push my car. just give it enough to keep up w/ someone just so i know how quick they are or aren't. Im sure there are threads on the internet about some guy saying he kept up w/ a 6 speed max

I know this is off the topic but the front end on that pic in your sig??? Is that for real? Or just a drawing? If real, who is it made by?

 

I love it when a guy thinks that his stock 6speed will eat my auto! Each time I went head to head with one, we start out about 30mph and go from there, they have never pulled away from me. Like I said Stock, the 6 and the auto a very much even.

 

I have a full cattman y-pipe mid and rear on it a custom cold air intake 5-30 sint oil timing +3deg comming soon

 

it wont eat it but its a little quicker. why race at a 30 mph roll. also as speed increases the 6 speed should pull away. Ive drive 2k2 autos and they seem to die off after you hit triple digits compared to the 6 speed. Although I rarely see over 130

 

What do you have to run 13.61 @103.25mph?

on second race we started from 20-30 miles thats why we were side by side...
i hate my tires... the only think is the "traction" , if you have good traction everything is alright!!! When i raced the RSX type-s i had a good traction (no spin at all) and i smoked it by 2-3 cars...

 

I ran a 14.3 bone stock with my MT, correct me if I am wrong, but glancing through the track forum, I don't think I have seen a stock auto run that time.

 

I ran a 14.3 with an intake only and the same night 13.9 on slicks. Some autos are pigs or they really suck at driving. I haven't figured out which it is though. After headers and ECU I plan to head back to the track to better my current 13.72 street tire run.
