Performance with CAI/Y-pipe/Exhaust?

How much difference will a cold air intake, Y-pipe, and catback exhaust (assuming they are all good quality) make to an Automatic '99 Se? Just trying to determine if the gains (power, 0-60, quarter mile) are worth the price of admission. Sorry, I know this has probably been covered a million and a half times here by now, but since I can't search...

I'm just guessing, but I bet if your searched just a few pages back, you could probably find something. Just warning you: there is a good chance you will get flamed.

I've read quite a few pages down, and got tired after 11-13 or so. I've also read all the FAQs and still haven't found exactly the info I'm looking for (only conclusion that led me to was that I want a CAI, not a HAI or popcharger). Like I said, if I could search, this wouldn't be a problem, and I would understand why people would get ****ed at me and flame. But since I can't I don't think it's too much to ask for someone to post a few figures and/or opinions up real quick. I'm not asking for a novel.

Edit: To whoever changed my title, as I said I've read the FAQs and stickied threads several times, not to mention things on other websites and even googled stuff. I'm not some newb that just came on here and posted without doing any research. Don't assume what you don't know. I was thinking about donating so I can search, but now I'm not so sure. If I knew people here were going to be such elitist *****, I wouldn't have posted anything.

Thanks man. That's exactly the kind of info I'm looking for. Most people doing these mods around here have 5-speeds... I'm just wondering if I'm going to notice a difference with the slushbox.

No one changed your title, that is on everybody for the first 50 posts. Don't worry.

Oh okay. I thought someone was just being a jerk. Like I said, although I'm a newb to Maximas I am not a newb to cars and car forums and how they work. I knew better than to post questions before reading the stickies and doing my research first. I would have never asked if I could search all the old threads on the subject. Thanks to all who have posted helpful info.

BTW, the only specific info I could find regarding automatics was that the CAI was better than the HAI or popcharger because the loss of low-end with the other two is more noticeable on a slushbox. Are there any other specific things I should look for with an automatic versus a 5-speed? (Ex: is a certain type of exhaust better for autos?)

I am auto and I had hai for over a year I just went to cai about 3 weeks ago man what a diff ,I love the low end this thing gives back ,the hai will lose some low end so I dont think its as good for auto ,they say you lose some top end but I havnt see it as of yet .
You can get a few more hp from a b pipe and muffler or a cat-bat system .

Ha ha ha, I felt the same way too when they "changed" my title, then I realized....its only for the first 50 posts - nobody hates you here bro. All I can say is that I will be getting the CAI too instead of HAI, midpipe, pop, etc, since I feel I spend most of my time down in the lower end of the RPM's (don't race too much) and I really want to feel the pull. I just am agonizing over which intake to get. I like Place racing since its true CAI, but Injen is convenient....these are the two manufacturers I've narrowed it down too....and everybody on here seems to support whatever they've got (PR or Injen) so I guess both are good. Prob going to be Injen for the convenience, but we'll see.

You should see a solid .3 gain or maybe a bit more along with 2-3mph gain in trap speed in the 1/4 mile.
