Cruise control gone crazy! What to do?

I was driving to class today and I was going to cruise it at 60 like I do everyday and for some reason it didn't want to activate. It turns on but I can't set it. I turned it off and then on again and gave it a few seconds and then all I saw was the Set light go on and off repeatedly like crazy. I pressed the Set button and then the Set light would stop blinking. I let it go for another few seconds and it started blinking on and off again.

Anyone ever have this happen to them. Some suggestion or comments before I take it to the stealership...

THX

I had the same problem a few months ago. The cruise light would just flash and never activate.

I put in an intake last weekend and started by disconnecting the battery cable. I hooked everything back up and went out on the freeway. Not thinking, I tried the cruise - worked perfectly.

Not saying installing an intake will fix your problem, but possibly something reset when I disconnected the battery.

Just my .2 cents...

Thanks, I'll try it when I get home. Still at college :-(
I hope it works

It didn't work. I disconnected the battery for about 15 minutes, connected it back. I got on the street and it didn't work.
Anyone else have any suggestions... THX
