[QUOTE]UPDATE 12/18/03
Installed cattman b-pipe several weeks ago...My exhaust system is now fully custom and is pushing my car to at least 320hp. New pictures coming soon. I am in the process of changing my Stillen ram-air intake to an Injen cold air system, should make the car at least 5-10hp over the Stillen unit. More coming soon.

Hmmmmm. Header, b-pipe, intake, stickers. 70HP? I don't think so.

It's more than 70 HP that he's claiming to have gained, and I hope he isn't an org member - for his sake.

I like the part where he says "now most people don't even recognize the car as a Nissan/Maxima"....wow, you mean the big hamburger on the grill and the rear "Maxima" badge don't give it away? psssshaw!

If his maxima has 330 hp then mine has a V-12

WAIT A SECOND GUYS......LETS NOT BUST HIM TOO FAST - I just noticed he added a NISMO logo, so that may have boosted him up to the 330hp mark.....

Since there are alot of guys jocking his car on his site, I had to add my input:

"I'm sorry you're gonna be disappointed when you go to the dyno, but there's no way you're pushing more than about 290hp with the mods you have....better get a turbo, SC, or NOS if you're gonna claim 330. But the rims look nice."

I don't really like the rims, but had to say something nice...

Yeah he has some nice mods (more than me)...but that's not the point. The point is, he's dropping a bunch of BS with his outlandish claims. There's no way he ACTUALLY thinks he's rolling with 330hp.....Don't hear me claiming my Frankencar adds 25hp and my hella horns add another 10, do you?

what if he truly is ignorant and thinks that he is gettin 255hp at the wheels. could headers and an intake could take him up to 330 from 255?

I feel sort of bad now that you all have crushed his dreams of owning a camouflaged Maxima with an invisible turbo.

330HP in these cars is pretty hard to do without a turbo or super charger. As far as I am concerned its a waste of money. With all the money you put into getting your car pushing that kind of HP, you could have bought a real sports car. Don't get me wrong, I love these cars but in order to get a lot of HP you need a lot of $$$$. Buy a used Z or something. I put about $2,000 into mine and got about a 100Hp of out it. Thats why it seems pointless to me to try to beef up these cars...The're sweet rides just they way they are.......

Hey Guys!

your missing one thing... The Grill tech Grill. That thing alone adds like 50 horses at the wheels.

Ive heard people being a bit generous with performance claims, but thats incredibly ignant.

I like how everybody's keepin' it real in his guestbook. Have you ever seen the guestbooks of peeps with Altimas? It'll be the ugliest/tackiest POS you've ever seen, and all these other Alty owners write crap like "damn that's the hottest Alty I've seen!"

Guys don't you think that we are just a little harsh on the fella? I think we all need to take it a little easy on him. If he had a certified butt dyno of 330HP then he has 330HP.

Who am I kidding? Maybe we should make him a member of the .org and welcome him

WOW...i cant believe the haters on this forum. You are all talking so much s hit that I almost embarresed to be a member. This car is very nice...a lot of money invested. How many people have 19" Giovannas on their max? Those are 19x9 BTW and they look HOTT...not to mention the lip kit and headers etc...This is one of the nicest maxes I've seen, IMO.

Nobody is saying his car doesn't LOOK good, or that we don't like his mods. We're not hating on him, we're clowning his dumbazz for what he says on there...

If anything, guys running around saying stupid shiet like that is an embarassment to us!
