Took indiglos out, needles still sticking.

I installed indiglos a couple months ago, but the power inverter box or whatever was defective, so I took them out. To try and make them not stick, I clipped off part of the 'rear' of the needles. I'm wondering if that is the problem now, because even with the gauges off, the speedometer still sticks between 35 and 60 at random places. Any suggestions?

make sure your stock gauges are stuck down flat, they can move forward too. did you get any glue or tape around the base of the needle that could be causing it to stick? i'd open them up, make sure everything is secure and clean.

good luck man. thats exactly what happened to me and my gauges became off. I had to go out and buy another speedometer...

IMO, stay away from indiglos-just change the stock bulbs.

yeah, it was a huge disaster...and I like the stockies better anyways now. That's the only mod that I absolutely regret

same here, i ended up going to stock SE gauges with led's behind them. way better looking mod than ricy indiglos that cause problems.
