how much does torque wrench go for?

I paid $70 for mine from Sears. They range in price from $20 to $150 depending on the drive socket size and torque range. Mine is from 20 - 200 ft. lbs.

U can also rent one from autozone i think... if u are only going to use it time ot time. They give you a full refund including tax.

I'd be scared to do anything with a $10 torque wrench. torquing wheels, maybe... but if you're going to touch the engine, I highly suggest spending money on a good one.

Agreed. Spend a little extra for a nice Craftsman unit from Sears if you do much mechanic work. Lifetime warranty. Around 60-70.
