Adjusting Koni Yellows......

Im just curious if these can be adjusted , without taking them off the Max...I purchased a set . If any of you have them, what settings have you run them at, and what are your impressions....Thanks guys ,

im pretty sure you have to take the rear struts out and twist them to change the setting. From what ive read, yellows are awsome struts, they are just a pain to adjust because you have to pull the rears out to adjust them. I think the front adjust from the top like illuminas dont they? Sorry i cant answer your question better, but im curious about this as well.

To adjust the rears, you have to totally compress the pistons, turn it clockwise to lock it and then adjust as you wish. I have mine adjusted at 360 deg clockwise.

The fronts are the opposite; turning it anti-clockwise stiffen up the struts. I have it set at 360 deg anti-clockwise too for a balance of comfort and handling.

3 turns anti clockwise is pretty stiff for my taste and my butt hurts when I hit potholes.

I had Konis on all my cars. Just had to add the Max to the mix......we shall see, I know they should handle better than Tein coilovers.....Im also adding Tein springs.

I just bought an 02 Maxima, and intend to get some eibach prokits and koni yellows. I previously had a nice Civic Si with the same setup and loved the control that the setup provided.
