Progress or Ingalls Camber Bolts

I am installing my Toser Coilovers and need to purchase a Camber Bolt Set.

Both Kits offer 2 Degree Camber but are there any benefits with one rather then the other?

Thanks.

What benefits would there be? You need camber kits to adjust your camber when lowered 2" or more. Do you need it to do anything else? Where and how much were the coilovers?

Unless you have a different set, Ingalls only adjusts +/-1 deg.

I think the new Eibach bolts have 1.75-deg adjustability. I got them from SWA. Honeslty if I needed more than 1.5-deg of adjustment rusI would just go with camber plates.

Camber plates don't have as much adjustibility than camber bolts. Read what Cattman wrote in one of his articles.

I mean there is only 20.00 or so between the two, just wondering if either has an advantage over the other?

That's a huge performance difference. With plates my Koni's had much better turning crispness than even coilovers with stock rubber mounts. But for just taking camber in/out most bolts work very well. Eibach, Ingalls, Progress, etc. I used to have Eibach, then SpecProd, now Progress. Oh, and if you combine plates & bolts you can go beyond neg 3deg camber.

How tough are these bolts? I think I remember reading on motorvate.ca that his Eibach bolts broke. I defiantly don't want that to happen but don't want to spend 200+ on plates..

I've heard stories of these bolts snapping under hard cornering or something, so that pretty much scared me off. Can you imagine that at high speeds?

Breaking in half is very unusual. Coming loose over time is more common if they're smaller diam than OEM bolts "ie crash bolts". They do need to be checked for tightness periodically.

Could you slot the holes and still use the factory bolts? Maybe put another bolt or a spacer in there to keep it from sliding down the slot? You could weld something in there once you got the camber set correctly... this is interesting..
