Well, this is step I - software can always be coded.

I know there's at least a few people on this board that could pull it off.

hm i asked since i always thought the consult was proprietary code and not available... but if something can be coded to work like it, that would be great, since you can't even change your own idle, without it.

As I understand it, it's all HEX based code.

Could be cracked pretty easily I would think.

Anyway - I'm not a total expert on such things - but maybe someone will find it useful.

Just adding to the knowledge collective.

Also these Generic Nissan ECU data register tables are helpful to.

http://www.users.bigpond.com/webspac...able_Ver_2.pdf

But I think you can get alot of this info thru a OBD2 interface. What would be nice is to get it to change parameters on the ECU using a laptop. Then we could have real time ECU control via PC software.

Great, now I have another project I hope to build now.

Well I built a OBD-II reader in highschool, similiar not completely the same. Was read only.

The PLMS thing I tinkered with but didn't pursue with my 92 SE. Cool stuff but I didn't really need it :-/ spipedong90 actually completed it and had it running for a second or two but then had some issues. I dont think he's messed with it since because he's been toying with the supra.
