I bought 2 silver 1156 bulbs, to replace my amber rear turn signals but they did not fit. I looked in the owners manual and the OEM bulb is a PY21W bulbs with BAU15s base (what is that).

Have anyone replaced the rear turn signal bulbs with silver chrome amber bulbs? And what was type and size bulb you used.

You need to shave down one of the nubs on the base of the bulb and it will fit. I used the file on a swiss army knife and it worked perfect.
