Greddy Cat back w/ Y-pipe

So, I am bored. I am surfing the web looking up stuff that I can't afford and I go to custommaxima.com and looking at the cattman exhaust and it says "All stainless steel construction, TIG-welded, only catback exhaust designed for aftermarket Y-pipes" I don't really like the look of the cattman I like greddy the way it kind is hidden. But anyway if I get a greddy catback exhaust.....would it be a waste of money to get the Y-pipe?

No, not at all. Cattman is making the claim that their catback sounds better with aftermarket y pipes. I had the Greddy catback and Cattman Y pipe and was very happy with the performance. It wasn't exactly quite though.

the y-pipe adds a lot more hp then the cat-back.

that's true

I like the sound with ypipe and stock cat-back better than y with the greddy. the later one is too loud, IMO.

Y-pipe could never be considered a waste of $$. if anything that catback could be considered a waste of $$.

I have the Greddy Catback and the sound is just a little louder over stock. If you were next to me, Sounds just like the G35 Coupe and 350z

Hey PIONEER, your Greddy isnt that loud because you dont have a y-pipe. When you get one (and you absolutley should) youll notice a huge difference in volume!
