Does anyone know what the maxima scene is like in the middle east, in particular Egypt? They have the cefiro there right? I'm going to be going there for about 2 weeks and was thinking if I should be bringing any extra money with me in case I find any deals on maxima/cefiro parts for cheap in the markets and what not. One of my buddies went to japan about a year ago and came home with lots of fun maxima stuff (like he bought momo pedals, EL guages and EL door sills, and a carbon fiber dash kit only spent about $120 USD for everything). can any international maxima drivers in the middle east or egypt give me some info?

Hmmm if you can try to pry it off on a Maxima Police car. I think they use as police cars there. I know in the Middle east, Iran, Iraq and Iseral use the Cefrio as police cars

There used to be a guy on this site with a pretty mean maxima from Bahrain, but he ended up stealing like $15,000 from maxima.org members (he introduced us to the MEVI that you have likely read about) and hasn't been heard from since. His name was roadbeast and also likely Supai91

Your not going to find much. Egyptians dont modify their rides due to the screwed up roads out there. But it wont hurt to take a couple extra bucks with you so you can buy a hooka. Have fun!

 

haha thanks for the tip, i was talking to an egyptian friend this afternoon and he told me something similar. he said i would probably only find cheap interior crap if anything. oh well.
