The website is MotoRex.net, the importer of Skylines to the US. I'm guessing thats where he got the front clip.

That is sick...where can we see more pics?

Looks like they modified the stock hood/fenders and added the R33 headlights and front bumper/lip...

if thats in cali, I think i've seen it before. Some girl in my hall my freshman year claimed that she was getting pimped by a guy driving a skyline.

But when we went to check it out, I thought it was funny being LHD and no turbo

Is it that bad? teddibear has that custom Skyline style front end everyone thinks looks tight. The only difference on this one is that they also fitted some R33 headlights...

Take off that stupid GT-R emblem, and it looks good in my book...

......I want a 2k3 Cobra, but Im not going to mold a Cobra front bumper to my Max.....

Personally I think anything that says GTR on it , doesnt belong on my Maxima, or anyones....

Well I gotta disagree...I still think it's tight and want more pics. That headlight and front end fits the lines of the car pretty well...the lip spoiler is a bit low though and the emblem's gotta go, but still...

They dont' look that good, I bet the R34 will look better, when I first saw that pic, you're kidding, seriously that's a Maxima? The headlight is all wrong, the bumper, i'm kind of surprise it fits.

I too disagree. you all know i am the king mucky muck of rice haters, but that **** is ill. He did a real clean job and it doesn't look hacked. It really fits with the lines of the car. I saw my share of R33 sedan when i was in japan last month and i'll be damned if that doesn't look pretty close. If a guy wants to put that kind of work into his car than much respect!

he does need a turbo and an intercooler though.

I like it.....and if was a simple bolt on, I'd do it....not even for aesthetics but IMO its an anti-HID theft case perfect for us NY/NJ'ers.....

throw the OEM HID in those headlights and bam...criminals won't be touchin dik

wonder if he has the tailight conversion also. Its definately a nice show car and only has the sticker of the site hes supporting. I fail to see whats ricey about the car but to each his own. I sort of like it but if the flat black lip has about half as long as it is now I would like it 10x better...

I agree, people say the max has a front end that resembles a skyline... If we had AWD, that would be cool along with a skyline clip... but still, it would be a maxima.. and I dont like ricry maximas.

I'm usually very anti-rice (my car is pretty much stock on the outside) but I think it looks pretty good, with a few caveats:
I would like it if the lower air dam wasn't there (i.e the black part)....Just the blue section (also how does this guy go up a driveway?)....

Also, the GTR badge is kind of silly up there

Put some fog lights in the openings and I think it would look pretty good in my book.

As to changing the look of the car - I personally love everything about the maxima, but if there was one part I like the least of my 2k its the front bumper....if I could do this conversion easily maybe I would....

Yeah but that's like saying "a maxima is meant to be NA, so you shouldn't get SC or turbo."

Hey not being a big nissan junkie (besides the max) if I saw that guys' car on the street, I wouldn't think "look at the skyline kit", I'd just think "hey that looks interesting"

Now I'd never put skyline or GTR badges on it, but nothing wrong with a custom body kit that looks decent. And I'm sure that kit cost him maybe a couple grand, while a real skyline would cost just a little bit more......

I think thats up to the person... A maxima is meant to be....

Ive seen it used as police cars, family cars, turboed racing cars, and etc... Look at Kloogy's car... hes done so many mods to it.. yet keeping it resemble a maxima.. then you have people who think it would be cool to make it look like a skyline... yeah, sometimes it looks cool, and sometimes its a disaster... But if thats what the person wants to do to it, then thats what its meant for... Each maxima has its own fate.. some just sadly become rice..

That Maxima's older than the birth of Jebus himself. It has R33 tail lamps as well.

agreed. its a damn good conversion but a little extreme. a car trying to be something its not is a lil hard for me to respect. i guess its coo for those into the flashy bells & whistles thing

I think it looks clean as hell, although yes I would replace the gtr badge with just a nissan hamburger... also, I think a r34 skyline front bumper, grill and headlights would look awesome as hell on a 5th gen, especially since our front ends already resemble the r34, esp. the 2k-2k1's w/ ae headlights

i give the person props....r33 front, widebody back flare, and r33 tail lights....thats pretty nice....the car is meant to be a show car, so they did a good job.... i'm not big on the way the styling/bodywork was done, but i do have one major complaint.... is it me or does it remind u of the 4th gen body shape..... ???? i think this conversion would look better on a 4th gen...just my 2 cents....
