im on my second maxima, my first was a 93 se that i had for a yr and sold it to my g.f.
and now i have my 95 gle that i had for 6 months and im going to keep this one until....

i have owned 2, the family has had tons of nissan/datsun cars and trucks. hail, i toured the USA in a 810 as a kid ! LOL ! it could have been a 710. at any rate my pops has had a zillion datsuns and a several nissans. not sure whats up now, he drives a Ford ?

I dont really have names for my Maxima's, but I call my Mustang Grumpy because I dont drive it that often and the mechanical fuel pump takes a while to pump the gas back up to the engine, so it takes a bit to start (wake up) hence Grumpy.

This is my first one, I really want a 5th gen 3.5

 

I currently have a 96 and a 2k2 (as well as other toys); my father has a 3.5 Altima (which he bought with my advice.)

I will keep the 2k2 after the 96 is traded in for somthing else. I do not care for the 04 Maxima's and especially the fact that they purposefully turned their backs on the Maxima Performance enthusiasts in order to attract those who have not exprienced a Maxima.

The next car will more than likely by a G35 or new TL, but who knows.

 

My family had a burgandy 95 gxe, a pebble beige 98 gxe and currently have a pebble beige 91 gxe (mine), a silver 96 gle, a sterling mist 02 se, and a majestic blue 04 sl.

 

That is a nice list of cars, definitely shown some dedication to the maximas.
Mine is about the same way, with a fewer less models.

I had a 97 5spd SE (got stolen) and didnt want to get it fixed and got insurance $$

now i have a 96 5spd

 

The question should be "How many Maxima's have owned you?"

My first car was a 1991 SE Auto. Bought it with 90k and it was driven by me, my sister, and my little brother till it was totalled this past winter. It had 220k on it and looked nearly new. My current 2k2 is of course the second Maxima i've owned and i'm very pleased with it as well.

 

i'll speak for my good buddy 'digitaldashmax' who probably wont come across this thread.
he's had an; 81 auto, 83 5-spd, 88 5spd, 91 auto and just puchased a 92 5-spd yesterday.
