recently bought a used '03 GXE (auto) and its gettin horrible gas milage. gets 224 to a full tank which comes out to about 14.Xmpg. the car use to be a rent a car so for sure everyone probably used the worst and lowest/cheapest gas. what should i do/check?

 

Start using premium gas.
Get a can of BG44K.
Check/change your spark plugs
Check/change your air filter
Check/change motor oil
Check your tires pressure

LOL, i have a 2000 auto se, and i get that on a good full tank, i drive mostly city, but i think the best that i have gotten was 252. I changed filter, tried every brand of gas/fuel injector cleaner. I dont know what it is. Good luck finding your problem.
