There are mixed feelings about the two. So which one do you like more?

i purchased stillen and then canceled and purchased Maxxtuning though

Stillen- Cleaner more factory look

Maxxtuning- More aggresive aftermarket look

I will wait till I see MT in person. I tried out the Stillen one yest, and it looked sweet.

 

i ordered both. I have the stillen, waiting ont he MT. Ill decide when i get both. Only hands on comparison pics will decide...

 

when do you guys think the MT lips will come in?

Nobody has pics of the MT lip because no one has it!! Well, besides Mingo.

 

they are being shipped to MAXXtuning this week and then the week after they should be shipped out to all the purchasers

The MT lip doesn't look right since it's basically the Stillen 00-01 aero lip, modified to fit 02-03. It doesn't match the lower inlets of the 02-03 bumper. Also, to me it doesn't seem to match up to the wheel well. Although the Stillen lip doesn't look as agressive, IMO it looks a lot cleaner than the MT lip.

 

Well since I "own" a MT lip I'd like to say that its the better looking of the two. But, I must say that the Stillen lip has a cleaner more OEM look to it. Thats more of the vibe I was going for, but since I've already waited this F'n long for the MT lip i'm going to stick with that.

stillen lip is cleaner and flows more with car lines...MT lip has openings that dont belong on a 2k2-2k3....

stillen lip looks like OEM add-on, like the TL lip kit

Hopefully people will post their MT lips when they get them. I like the look of the MT. Too bad it doesn't look cleaner on the wheel well. So i might end up going with stillen. Maybe stillen/MT can make a lip that has the style of the MT but the clean look of the stillen.

Mingo can you take a side shot of the entire car with the lip? I want to see how it compares to everything else. Also how much clearance do you have in the front?

i'll post the pictures u requested once i charge up my digicam. as for ground clearanc, my lip would eat a parking block thing. but then again that's because i have coil overs. i forgot how many inches i lowered my car. but i'de say i have one and a half finger gaps in the front.

 

dude max tuning all the way...if ur gonna buy a lip buy something a lil noticeable....stillen is just a waste of money...imo...and thats all it is...an oppinion

 

I kinda want more than an inch clearance in the front and since I don't have a full kit I just ordered the stilllen lip. It's a maxima.... not a catapillar. So why make it look like a bulldozer with the huge gautty front end.

Funny thing is, people are asking which one do they like better stillen or maxx? Here is my take.
This first one I don't like because it is less aggressive than the Nissan Anniversay edition lip. If I am going to "upgrade" to the stillen one, I want it to be more aggressive, not less subtle than the factory nissan anniversary kit.



Next one is the Stillen Aero for the 00-01 model and the other is a stillen looking redesigned by Maxx to fit the 02-03 model. In my opinion its not that it is too agressive, they just redesigned it to fit the 02-03... But then again, I guess you have to like the Stillen Aero (01-02) model since the beginning.

Yeah I kinda am serious. I never said they were the same though. The new stillen one is just not aggressive enough for Me. I think these are more aggressive than the new Stillen one. I think because of this I prefer the Maxx one.
