WSP y-pipe ....loud

I just install y-pipe today and it's so loud. That's what I read the wsp y-pipe shouldn't be much louder than stock one. And at low rpm it sounds like it's hitting something. Anyone has similar issue? ooh and if this is matters I got GAB mod.

i just installed mine yesterday.
its a little louder but i like it. actually wish it was a litte louder.
mine isnt hitting anything so i dont know what to tell you. the onlt thing you can adjust is where the pipe meets the cat. i just made sure it was centered before i tightened it.

i just got mine this past weekend. hopefully i will be able to install it in the next week or so. i know some people have had to add about 6-7 washers per bolt in the front so it lowers the pipe and it prevents the pipe from banging against the cross member.

I suggest checking your connections for an exhaust leak. Mine is only slightly louder than factory.

i just installed my wpspd y-pipe on my max this past weekend. probably the easiest install i have ever done. It took me and my friend 1.5 hr. It got a little louder, but not unless under WOT. I had him drive it and give his assessment of the power gain, and he and i agree there is a noticable one. I have already driven 250 miles with it on and have had no problems so far.

as mentioned earlier, its a the black cross member in front of the cat. you can either lower it using longer bolts and 5 washers per bolt or just remove it. i have mine removed with no negative effects. the only thing i can think it does in help with a small amount of rigidity and a brace for the exhaust.

Thanks guys for reply , you right that's that black cross member , I just noticed that when I was driving from work today in traffic.
I had one issue when I was instaling the pipe, the hole for o2 sensor (front one) is too high on the side of the pipe so I had to first put the o2 sensor and then tighten the pipe. When I was tightening the y-pipe the o2 sensor sit on the oil pan and bent.
