I bought a NISMO FPR for my 96 SC Max as a part of a WALBRO Fuel Pump upgrade. The Courtesy Nisssan in Texas NISMO FPR did not fit. I returned the NISMO FPR and am running with the original stock
FPR at 41 PSI IDEL with no problems.

Details are somewhere in archives posted back in January of this year.

the stock sr20det fuel pressure regulator is the exact same as the oem maxima one. It fit in the stock location.

the nismo works on the sr20det's, why wouldnt it work on ours?

the only reason why i would think that i might not work is because of that tail on the lower end.

when i get my hand on one (i know a guy that has one), ill do a test fit with that

www.OBXracingsports.com makes a very high quality regulator that comes with the fuel rail adapter & mounting brackets. You should be able to get one for about $90.00 bucks. Tunable from 20psi to what ever your fuel pump will put out. I think it will handle up to 1000hp & it's pretty looking?

not to knock anything down, but would ya trust an OBX part that if failed could damage the motor ?? Only diff between the NISMO FPR is the return line outlet tube is longer than the stock. It will bolt right up to the rail thou. Slimer I will take off mine and see if the SR one is same as a VQ.
