even though i only used my honda extended warranty from my used car dealer once, the piece of mind was nice. i was considering MAYBE when i get my maxima, getting it from a private seller, but of course i cant get a warranty from them.

i get all this junk mail all the time about extended warranty and whatnot, but are these things legit? has anyone done anything like that? i could save a lot of money if i bought it from someone, of course, but the warranty thing is pretty important for me, especially for mods. my current dealer doesnt really care about the mods at all, and that is definitley a rarity from what ive been told.

so anyone know anything about these third party extended warranties?

 

I bought one when I got my max for the peace of mind you described. I've never used it and it's about to run out. I wouldn't get another.
