VQ35DE Twin Turbo Kit *Videos*

Hey everybody, the long awaited G35 Twin Turbo / Twin Intercooled kit is finally finished. We finished earlier tonight, got time to plug in a base map and get some test runs out of it before we called it a night. Tommorow we will have dyno results as well as the results from the stock plenum vs our own.

Damn that is amazing. That is much more than the greddy kit. Is that with your custom manifold or the stock one? What size turbos are those? When does boost hit?

Very nice numbers. Esp since its on a DD dyno.

We tend to call the DD the "heatbreaker" dyno since it reads the lowest out of all dynos. If you strap that car on a DynoJet, the numbers would be infalted somuch more.

That's pretty impressive on the numbers.. I am considering doing a single turbo setup when I pick up a G of my own, if not I will going twins.

Jason,

Go twin...much better layout then you can do with a single UNLESS you mod the hood.

Also, JWT is also releasing their Garrett TT setup with reprogrammed OEM ECU supposedly during the summer. I've heard 360ish whp range with a super linear type power curve that's pure OEM style and UNREAL driving experience.

You 350z/G35 guys are getting SOOOoooo many choices, it'll be hard to decide.

I'm don't know about fitting twins in the Maxima but with a single, we are guessing about 380 whp. at 6.5 psi. Hopefully I'll be able to dyno it this weekend to see final numbers.

You said these are crank numbers right? I don't see how you can get crank numbers unless the dyno can compute crank numbers.

who are you referring too? The Altima Turbo made 343whp at 5.5psi with a few issues so i don't see 380whp being out of the question at 6.5psi. Again I don't know who you were replying too?

its easy to get crank #'s. Just divide the WHP by the % of power loss for each transmission. Autos lose 23%, manuals lose 18. so if a 6 spd put down 343whp, then to get crank, do this

WHP/(1- power loss rate)
or 343/.82=418.29

G35 = 402 to the rear wheels

Altima 3.5 = 348 to the front wheels

crank #s will be more
