I have a 1999 5 speed maxima. After driving for 30 minutes or so, the shifter becomes difficult to move into the 5 gears. Sometimes it returns to normal. I recently had the manual transmission oil replaced, but the problem is still there. A mechanic told me that a "rod?" need to be replaced in the linkeage. Any help or ideas are appreciated. Thanks.
