I tok the Maxima out for the first time in 5.5 months yesterday, got her washed up and ready to go. Just wanted to share my excitement. Also installed the custommaxima short-throw shifter. I love this thing

About 5 hours, but that was because I broke a bolt on the cat. It should take normally around 2 hours.

$80

if you can take the bolts off on the cat without a problem with the right tools and extensions took about 1 hour..... i installed a B&M STS ... i have a little problem with the boot though i used the stock one and i used the b&m shifter so my boot slides off about an inch or so..... and i cna't get it to stay up.. and i messed up my stock shift **** a little because i'm stupid so before u take it off heat it up a little because it's glued on....

billy, looks terrific!
I thought you got in an accident with the rear bumper being repainted, but then I noticed the duals and realized you had to get it painted because of that. It is so hard to match the color exactly... you can barely notice it though.
I don't mean to put your ride down, it looks super hot... I just noticved that and wondered what happened.

Yeah, but Im glad it was stored. I put 20,000 miles on the car in just 6 months. Storing it really saves the miles, plus I get to get all giddy when spring time rolls around, its like getting a new car each spring!

Actually I just noticed that. Beleive it or not the bumper paint is all stock, the entire car is. Maybe its just the angle and lighting, but in real life I cant see any difference in color

thanks for the comments

All light 4th gens seem to suffer this fate...sterling mist, pebble beige, pearl white, sunlit sand...
