Which type of oil filter wrench do you use?

I use my hand. It's snug enough not to leak and I still can take it off with some elbow grease.

You should be able to put on and take off your oil filter with your hand. That's what I always do.

If you still want to tighten it so a wrench is necessary to remove it, I would recommend one of those rubber strap wrenches, which can at least be used for jobs other than just removing oil filters.

The other thread was pretty funny, with the Popeye comments. I understand one should never use a wrench to tighten it ie hand tighten only, but the thing can get hot to touch also...

hand and ebow grease. If it's hot wrap a rag around the filter and then take it off,
