i THINK the maxtunning lip is exactly (or as close as possible) to the Stillen lip for the 01-02. not the classic lip. so if u want the max tuning, just get the stillen.

 

SWA is throwing me a kit together w/ Stillen sides and rear w/ Maxxtuning lip for a 01. If the lip does not exist, what could it be?

 

They're probably just giving you the lip that was already around that Maxxtuning based their new lip off of. I don't know if you saw the pics of BigDogJonx's max, but he had the 00-01 lip on his.

 

that lip looked just like the Stillen Aero lip right?

 

I don't think, isn't the Aero lip the one with the fins on it?

Image 1 is of the stillen Aero kit. Image 2 is the Maxxtuning version of it for the 02-03 Maxima. The kit that you refer to with the fins is called the touring lip.

 

+1 for what maximazero said. The MT lip is ONLY for 2k2-2k3 maximas. If you have a 00-01 you will get a Stillen aero or touring lip (the ones with the fins). The stillen aero lip for the 00-01s is the same as the MT lip for the 02-03s.
