BTW you will need divx codecs to view these. Available at www.divx.com. I watch them in windows media player 9 with divx and they work great. About 6 megs each.

Brian hasn't ripped that one yet. Only one he did so far is the one of you and the alty.

The track is not much to look at but it hooks well, 2.1s on streets and 1.8s on slicks. You should have seen all the rubber getting ripped up during the burnouts though, it was like the track was peeling.

It's not downhill, the run off is up hill so it makes it look that way.

race 1:

What the track is down hill ? no wonder !!! LOL ! just kidding .. i thought the track looked good, i would enjoy racing there. we have a few in mississippi that im sure you guys would turn around and head back to the house.

neal your car looks freaking slammed !!! looks awesome.. what is pops running in that old classic car.. that guy was flying... you schooled his tail at the tree though !! also will anyone ever get a 2.0 on street tires ?

race:2

big huge trans am pulls up to light. looks over at a maxima. both cars launch and neal dusts him off the line and is gone. at this point you have to love what the guy must be thinking. (pause the video as neal passes and look how far back the trans am is ,,ha !) another killer run and that dude is still wondering what is up with your 4 door , real close race !

I believe your going FI correct? If so, wouldn't it prove useful for you to get an upgraded clutch anyway?

Damn nice times Neal. Hey Ceasar and Neal, we should start a SSR club. Ceasar I know yours are 16's but Neal what are yours. I find that the 17's slow me down. I didn't get a chance to run on the stockers but with I could only pull a 15.37 @ 89.11 with atleast 150Ibs of weight reduction. Do you guys think its the rims or do I have another problem? Keep in mind I'm auto.

Those SSR's are really light, the wheel/tire combo is most likely less than stock so I don't think it's the wheels. 89mph is a low trap for your mods. I should be in the 15.0 range, give or take a tenth or two with 93ish traps at least.

Are you going out to Byron on the 17th? You might want to wait and go out there before you get too concerned.

Does dropping it that low really stiffen the front end to help traction? Also what struts are you using? Do you daily drive it at that height? What size are your type C's? What kind of rubber are you using?

No having the car low doesn't help really. I don't pull any better 60' times than anyone else who knows how to launch the car. I have KYB GR2 in the front and AGX in the back. The car has been at this height for 3 years and it hasn't changed a bit.

i've been able to rip a 2.05 once on streets. i'm getting the itch to test the 1/4mi again. my max is feeling slower nowadays thoough. probably due to the fact that all the other cars are faster.
