NOS Kit #08006 NOSzle Direct Port EFI Kit

Will that kit work on a 2k-2k1 Maxima....or any maxima for that matter?? Just curious...i thought it looked kinda interesting. I cant see why it wouldnt work, other than being expensive as hell and a PITA to install....but anyway...would this work on a 2k-2k1 maxima?? The kit says "universal 6 cylinder" but "universal" usually means itll work on EVERYTHING BUT a maxima...

That kit is a good idea on 4 cylinder or inline 6 cars. On a V6, you would have to remove the upper intake manifold to reach the injectors. A traditional direct port kit would be easier to change jets.

Yeah Im aware of the difficulty of the install....but would the kit actually work on our cars?? and not cause any problems with the injectors being too high and the fuel rail not going back on right and all that good stuff. Plus i dont think a traditional direct port will work on our 2k-2k1 cars because of the material the intake manifold is made of, or at least i can remember reading that somewhere. Thats why i was wondering if this kit is possible, it seems to be the only way that the 2k-2k1 cars could run a "direct port" nitrous kit.

If you can drill and tap holes in the material, I don't see why a tradition direct port kit won't work. I'm not if the injector would fit into that noszle part. I would just call up NOS and ask them.

I think Donkey was running NOSzle on his 5.5gen, from the pics on his cardomain it looked like everything works fine aside from having to remove the upper manifold for swapping jets. NX has NXL which uses this same type of nozzle system, along with a custom fuel rail, but for maximas there isnt a fuel rail application. You can use the regular Direct Port components, except use the new nozzles instead of the standard direct port ones.
