Hey Guys!

I have a 99 SE with cloth interior and I just bought some leather seats and Im wondering about the door panels, Can I just convert the cloth part to leather or do I have to actually replace the whole panel with one out of a leathered car?

i would like to think that the whole door would look better and what color interior do you have?

 

you can just replace the insert, but i would just get the whole panels... If you need help with how something comes apart, just pm or aim me. I just swapped my ENTIRE FRIGGIN INTERIOR from tan leather to black leather... I know how EVERY piece in that interior comes apart...

 

Thanks 97blackSE Thats what I was looking for, I might just take them inserts out and just have them upolstered(<--sp) in leather. That will probably be cheaper than buying the panels and having them shipped or whatever

 

About how much would that cost? Roughly? Compared to buying OEM inserts at a junk yard, if anyone has already done these...

 

I got my entire 1996 black leather interior. This is seats, carpet, dash, ALL trim, ebrake, center console, rear deck, headliner, for 350$ dollars. I also got a bose stereo with this and a BUNCH of extra trim.. gotta love it!

 

Was this at a junk yard? Cuz that's cheap!

 

OMFG dont tell me those things...LoL I just paid 365 + 175 shipping for front and back leather seats. Yea you got a steal BIG time. oh well gotta love black leather interior!!!

I just bought front and rear leathers from the junkyard out of a 97 I30 for $300. I can't find the inserts for the doors anywhere though. They only had the rear driver's side door insert.
