speaker wiring...

my aftermarket head unit got stolen, so i ordered a diff one from e-bay.. i got everything i needed to install it, but the problem is that when i installed it, speakers wouldnt work. i read all the FAQs, and im more than sure ive done all the headunit wiring correctly. before that, the rear speakers sounded very bad, cause the 'amps' or crossovers, whatever they are, were too old.

what i did was, i cut the white/blue and black/blue wire from the left rear speaker harness, and attempted connecting my speaker's wires directly to the ones i cut, without using those old amps, but nothing worked. is there something im missing out on? please help, if i dont get my Rammstein back on, ill go crazy

Did you visit craig braces site in the FAQ's. It has a how to that tells you which wires to connect in the HU removal page.

Just re-wire everything new. Takes some time but well worth the hassle.

you might just have to try all of the wires behind the amp until you get the best reception.
