I'm not too good at custom work; does anyone know anybody that can custom make this mod for me here in SoCal?

I know how you mean because I want them but all that custom work and crap is just too much. I prefer to but the adapters from someone with the lights. Any sellers?

I've fit a set with only cutting on the headlight brackets, no cutting on the radiator support and such.

I was thinking about picking up a few sets and extra brackets and making some for people, but I dunno.

You might be able to then set up an exchange program where you send them the bmw lights and brackets and they send you back the stock brackets (maybe the whole headlight) so you only have to buy a few extra brackets to start out...

That is very logical and it keeps the cost to a minimum. Good job.
