There's a place called Cryogenics of Tulsa (in Tulsa, OK) that does cryo pretty cheap if you feel like shipping..

About 2 years ago I asked about a tranny and he said he'd dip the whole thing (case and all) for $100. charges $15 or $20 for a brake rotor, so you can use those numbers for a price comparison.

i'm not sure but i think it involves hardening the gears so they can take more damage...even more than stock power

I thought they were legit up until they talk about cryotreating CD's and DVD's for better sound/picture. Cryogenic hardening is for real though.

Yes the superfreeze changes the molecular structure and makes thing harder.
Bought some cryo treated carbide wearbars (for my snowmobile) and the lasted easily twice as long.

What exactly is involved with cryotreating? Is it as simple as dipping the parts into liquid nitrogen? If so, I can offer this service. My father has a biomedical supplies company and uses/sells the stuff. If it is as simple as dipping it into a tank of LN, I can do that.

It really sounds like that is all they do. However, I don't know what kind of time frame they are doing... is it overnight? 24hr? Cryotreated metals turn a different color--quite dramatic and cool. I have a golf driver that is cryotreated--unfortunately, it hasn't helped my game but my buddy who is good can wail on the thing!
