rear seats

rear seats

does anyone know how to remove the back seat on a 96? i made a custom box and it won't fit through the trunk!!!

The part where someone back bone would rest?

There are 2 bolts at the bottom corners of each side (left and right) -- I THINK they're 14mm. Take both of those out and then you'll have to PUSH up and pull towards yourself to lift that part up.

actually i need to remove the backrest part. but i'll try your way and see if i can get it all out.

If it won't fit from the back of the car it won't fit from the back seat either. Sorry man. I had to take all that crap out before and the hole that is left is smaller than the rear trunk lid.

i agree

with the seat pulled out there is metal bracing and **** and there is no way you can fit in from there if you cant do it from the trunk, then again i dont even think you could get it through the rear door. sorry man

Do this and also take off the metal colored back support.

There's still not alot of room to fit a box in that way...
