Just thought i would share a pic i took last night showing the difference between 4300k (right)and 8000k (left)HID's

4300K is the left and 8000k is the right. Put labels next time.

Yeah the 4300k are briter and white as hell the 8000k still put out good light and are more of a purple color

I think the purple ones looks better but i thought that those were the 4300K?
the higher the number the whiter it gets right?

I thought the higher the # the brighter it gets too.
I like the dark blue/purple ones better. They look awesome. Both are cool. The darter colored ones are more like the 6th gens.

higher the color, the more purple it gets and the less VISIBLE light (lumens) that you get. Thats why all manufactureres stick with 4100K bulbs. You can see the most with those.

ilumo is correct ,although i like the look of the 8000k better there is no question that my 4300k are much briter and white(useable light)

It doesn't look to me like there is any shortage of light on the 8000 one. I mean, yeah, the other one looks like the sun....but the bluish one is right behind it. ha ha
