I'm out of the country, can anyone tell me for the 00 max windshield wipers, if the 17inch wiper is on the driver side or the passenger side? I know our dimension is 17 inch and 26 inch.

Also would the wipers bump each other if one wiper is 18 inches? i know i can buy a 17 inch, but i want to know what would happen if I used a 18 inch? I dont have my car here to check, so i need your help... thanks!

 

The 17 inch is on the passenger side. I can't imagine the clearance is close enough that 1 inch would matter but I have no way to tell.

 

Yes, the longer wiper is always on the driver's side. Using an 18" on the passenger side would work, but the wiper might move slower than the other one due to the extra distance it has to travel.

I just did this two days ago, I got mine from AdvancedAuto, Trico was the brand, just the wiper no arm, had the little metal ribs in them. Fit perfectly.
