FINALLY a member of the 19" wheel club! Daytime PICS just added! SS Grille too!

EDIT: Daytime pics have now been added - scroll down
Woohoo! Finally (finally finally finally....been sitting in my basement since February) put the 19's on tonight, along with my Street Scenes grille (figured out how to remove the bumper finally)

The wheels are Axis Illuminati 19 x 8.5 and the tires are Falken GRB-451 245/40/19. Lowered on Tein H.Tech/Illuminas. NO rubbing. Night pics so far, day pics will be added tomorrow. I'm in love with this freaking car....big shouts to Ola (nupe500) for the help today, very much appreciated friend!

Proud to be a member of the dubs minus one club!!!!

Headlights will be my next mod....most likely 2k2's so I can see potholes better at night Will consider the AE ones if the bank account dries up (which, considering I'm getting engaged in June, is quite possible!!)

Those things look huge! I guess its because the spokes come the whole way to the edge or something.

why did you get 40 series tires on 19" rims? I think it looks bad like that...the tires look WAY to big and not clean looking.......but its your car...

I purchased 40 series tires on the 19" wheels because I live in Philadelphia. Not exactly sure where that ranks on the 'worst potholes in the world' list, but I can almost guarantee it's in the top 10.

If I was spending a couple grand on wheels and tires, I figured I'd go with the extra half inch of sidewall and give myself a little extra peace of mind. Not that I'll be aiming at potholes, but sometimes it just happens - Philly sucks

Thanks for the comments and criticisms, both are much appreciated - I just shot daytime pics (well, 7AM pics, but it's light out) - as soon as I get home from work they'll be posted.

Philly does suck..and in all honest...the tires and rims look way better in person...they don't look outta place at all. The only thing I was worried about was maybe slight rubbing in the rear...Ccx...any issues with that yet? (check yer tires)

THey make that car Look soo............much better...btw don't forget to post the before pic...goober!

Naw, no issues with the rubbing man, even over the large dips on 76 this morning everything seemed and sounded just fine - i still may roll up that inner lip on the rear just for peace of mind, though.

How dark is your tint? Oh and I'm with you on the 40s, living in PA is unreal. Every day I drive 20 minutes out of my way to school just to miss a large amount of potholes in the city. People from out of state wouldn't understand why a 40 series makes sense. Of course I still went with a 35 cause it looks better.

The wheels look good but now the car looks like it sits up too high. I think your next mod should be a stillen body kit.

My thoughts exactly! Hope I can afford to get it before the summer's over or else it'll have to wait until next spring when its warm out again (i've got something against doing any kind of 'looks' mods in the winter) - but I was juts thinking the same thing yesterday.."damn...i need a kit"
