ever since I installed my berk intake, with the fresh air setting and the fan on while driving, the air seems to be warmer than usual. is this because of the WAI? I do need cool air more than I need the growl of the engine...

You're not going to get cool air with that intake. Only way you gonna get it is by using a Place Racing intake.

The engine's intake has nothing to do with the air coming in the vehicle thru the vents. There is a seperate intake for the climate system in your car. Stock airbox or not, the air temp entering the cabin will be defined by other factors such as outside air temp, car sitting in the sun, etc.

swapmeet - that made a lot of sense. my car being blacker than black, the air is always warm on the cool selection of the climate control.
