One Cylinder Out Intermittently

I need an advice. I have Max-94, 140K. Sometimes one of my cylinder is not working. When that happens the car does not have smooth engine operation and engine "check" light is on. I believe it is a fuel injector, although, wire, distribution cap, spark plug may also be a reason. I did a visual inspection of wires, plugs and a cup. It looks normal.

Could you please suggest a method to determine which cylinder and what cases this problem.

Thank you very much.

pull 1 spark plug wire at a time until you find the cylinder that DOES NOT cause a change in the running of the engine
That cylinder would be the one with the problem
