EXHAUST TEST VIDEO: Which setup do you like best ?

EXHAUST TEST VIDEO

Listen to 3 different exhaust setups on a 97 Nissan Maxima and vote for which audio clip/setup you liked best of the 3.

The download is less than 1MB and is 56k friendly so everyone can voice their opinion. Some of you may not like any of the files, but out of the 3 vote for which one you like best out of the three. And feel free to leave comments within the thread.

After I get some votes and comments I will post up each setup and everyone can see which one they liked of the three.

1st = nice and the sound carries...

2nd = nicest in my opinion, it's relatively loud but not to loud and doesn't sound like a fart cannon.

3rd = ... don't like it.

I have to agree with Ludacris.
I like #3 the best out of those.
I think it sounds a little different now though with those headers on there.
I like whatever setup you have on there right now the best.
When you smoked me at the drag strip, your car sounded really great.

im going to give some more time for votes and opinions. and of course the sound files wont be the same as in real life but it gives you an idea.

i listened to the files on the laptop vs the big pc with all the subwoofers and such and even that was a big difference.

1 sounded really farty
2 Was better but still a little farty at the end
3 Sounded nicest of all.

One note: Doesn't anyone think that F1 cars sound ricey?
Isn't that super high note pitch what everyone calls ricey?
I think it sounds like *****. I dont like farty, but ricey... I could live with.

yeah. ferraris too. sounds like rice to me. lol. i know what you mean though. f1/ferrari engines sound like their going to explode when they get going. i guess its an acquired taste for supertuned engines.

3 sounds best to me. 1,2 had a little droning going on.

To me they all sounded ricey and high pitched, escpecially number 1 and 2. 3 was the least ricy and i liked it the best. I agree that they sound like 4 cylinder fart cannons, but number 3 sounded the best of all, also were u at the track? it sounded like it becasue of the peel outs and fading away sound of the exhaust and the peolpe talking? but number 3 gets my vote. i didn;t really like any of the setups

OK i really think that there all the same dude. Honestly they sound like hondas... no offense. It is hard to find an exhaust that actually sounds good and strays away from the honda sound that rattles your ear drums.

Number 3 all the way!!! I'm amazed by the fact that the headers take the stock exhaust note and raise it an octave higher. All this time i thought it was the cams that made Iron Lung's exhaust note sound high-pitched. Sounds sick!!

Ceasars: you even thought about changing the muffler? I think the muffler is what make your car sounds kind of ricey at times. Maybe put on a 5th gen muffler? It wouldn't look as good as an aftermarket muffler, but the sound should be much better.

Do you guys think a 5th gen muffler would sound good with Ceasars setup?

I agree... definitly change your muffler if you want your maxima better sounding. Not sure if you should go for the 5th gen muffler, but you can try it out.

Everyone's talked about how they like/dislike the ricey sound from some of those setups, what kind of sound are you looking to get out of it? do you like the "ricey" sound?

I noticed that you have the Race series. Most others seem to go with the Street series, I wonder how much of a sound difference there is?

thats a good question, i always thought this was a street series until further inspection at the exhaust pro who is also a magnaflow dealer.
