i've been running a 50 shot for quite some time now on stock plugs.... i had some 1step colder plugs in my trunk, but they got fuked up (long story)......instead of buying them again, can i just retard my timing 1 or degrees and still be safe with the 75 shot?

 

buy new plugs there not that expensive..

 

it's not so much the cost ... but more the hassle of replacing them.. i've heard the back 3 are a b!tch to get to........... i jus wanted to kno if retarding my timing will do essentially the same thing.... if not, i will probably go ahead with the plugs since i wanna be as safe as possible...

 

And how did you plan on retarding the timing, I belive you need to get ECU reprogrammed to do that. Just go with the new plugs man should do fine

are stock 03 plugs platinum?

 

yes... i hear they are not too good for nitrous... =P
