Well regardless of aw89maxSE opinion. The action being taking is, I'm getting the last kit from WW, when it's installed, painted etc. They want pics to market it AGAIN. So, it will be out AGAIN.

you're more likely to hit something(ie road debris, parking blocks, etc.) in the front than any other part of the car....thats my guess. plus the front fascia are usually the most expensive piece sometimes

I have never been a big fan of the sides but the rear is kinda cool on the ww.I dont think that the Kaminari is a true bumper replacement anyway. If you look at the kit (not going by what customa maxima says) it looks like it attaches to the top groove in the bumper. I am almost positive it is not a true bumper replacement. I may be wrong though since I havent seen one in person to check it out.

WW kit.
check his site for more pics
There are others on ebay that have it too. Sidney had it on his old car...it was called something else but its the same design that WW bought. Check out the 92 maximas on cardomain and look for a white maxima...I believe he is one of the first or the very first listed there.

but ask most any bodyman, they dont like fixing urethane parts. there's no way to guarantee that the filler will stick(there's no chemical bold between even urethane repair kits and urethane) so one minor tap and the filler will crack right off and then its their fault. on the other hand, fiberglass will crack, but it can be repaired over and over again, until the piece is a big melting pot of resin and fillers. fitment wise its alot easier for the average joe to mount a stillen kit that fits like crap(mine did). and you use double sided tape and some rivets where you can hide them, but if they come off the kit looks like crap again.my friend has a 240 coupe,no body kits were made for the coupe, only the HB,and the rear is different. it cut it into 8 pieces and molded it back together, filled in a a tow hook hole and dropped the height of it 2 inches and it looks great. couldnt do that with urethane. both have their pro's and con's.

so the WW front lip is still fiberglass?
i doubt they're willing to make it out of urethane just for the few kits they'll sell. oh well, i'll have to bit the bullet and deal with the fiberglass...any ideas on front lip cost??
Finally I got some solid input, learned alot from jaun too. The kit fiberglass, not a full bumper replacement either. The time frame on the kit being back on the market I hope will be 4 months. But before I go the trouble of repainting the whole car and sending out pics to WW. I want to shave the door handles and such. Gotta do something about the tail lights, I donno wether to replace them or shave in some WRX tails.
Glad to hear the enthusiasm, I'll be working on it.
