I have clips of my maxima on the track and on the freeway. I have everything on a regular video camera. How do I put these clips on my computer with added music and sound effects? Is there a program I need to buy for this?

first things first. do you have a usb or firewire output and input on your pc ? if you pass this test do you have anykind of software ?

 

Yes I am pretty sure I have the USB input and outputs. I have a few input and outputs unless you are talking about something else. I have a Dell computer that is a few years old. A friend told me that he thinks that I have to have a digital video camera to do this on the computer. Is this true? I do not have a digital video camera. Just a cheap $300 camera that is probably 3 or 4 years old. How much does this video capture card cost?
