I drive a 2000 GLE. I've been putting 87 Octane in my maxima. I wanted to know if you put 91 or 93 octane in a tank with 87 Octane in it, is it harmful?
Will it cause misfire in the cylinders and damage the engine or something if you mix Octanes?

not sure how much prices fluctuate, but it should not be more than 15c difference between the grades. and 14 cents of difference gives you like 3.60 total per 17 gallons (1 gallon left in tank).

Here in Norway, 1 liter 95oct (equal to your 90-91oct) costs $ 1.38... There's 3.78 liters in 1 US gal. which equals to $ 5.22/gal!!!! 98oct (your 93-94oct) is $ 5.78/gal....
So I'd like to ask you for one minute silence for the European Max owners...
