kinda long/dealer...this is BULLSH**
ok remember the transversal link recall(the clunking sound from the steering wheel)i believe that is the one..well i had my car in twice for it no problem was found but a left front strut assembly was replaced and some backing tape was put inside my air bag
--anyway i took the max to the dealer yesterday for the same sound and they tell me that it is my exhaust making the clunking sound...ok how in the hell is my exhaust going to affect my steering?i was in there with the same problem 2 times before without the aftermarket exhaust with the same tech driving the car..so i was told to file a complaint with nissan-which i did but my dealer proceeded to tell me that they were told until i put the max back to stock they won't touch it
i am not taking off those headers
what to do what to do

When you write the letter to Nissan, show them the two previous receipts, where the problem was not fixed. Then copy the letter to the Nissan dealer's owner, the Better Bus. Bureau, and the local news station.
You go in there and give them this first
. Then you make up a little lie and see if they follow. Say I just got off with the nissan corporate and they said they will need prove that an aftermarket part is causing the problem. Not someones guess or dislike of it. Which this is just to see what they will say but it is actually true, they do have to give proof.
