Upgraded brakes and now the parking brake light won't turn off

I was in the GD for brembo blanks with SS lines and performed the upgrade myself. The FAQ on the org was linked to boostedmaxima which is no longer around. I tried to google for another writeup but to no avail. Since I can't search on the org I tried to read through various postings but haven't found anything useful. Anyone know why the Parking Brake light stays on all the time now? My brother suggested reseting the ECU, but I would like to know why.

Also, any reccomendations on brake fluid? I have been told motul 600 is a good cheap brake fluid that would more than meet my needs (NA vq30de-k).

adjust the parking brake cable.
Motul 600 is good if u like to change it like less than every year. ATE blue is a better option for regular drivers.
