What springs/shocks to go with?

What springs/shocks to go with?
I have a 2k2 "GLE" and I want to get rid of some of the height and body roll. Buy I want a big drop in height not really more than 1"; I want the ride to stay fairly soft "GLE" like. So what spings/shocks should I go with? Eibach/Illuminas? or would that be to harsh of a ride?
