Changing foglight bulb for an '01

Hello.
I'm new to the maxima forum. I recently just purchased my first car. A 2001 Maxima SE and im just doing some small modifications. I'm unable to search the forums on how to install these foglight bulbs. Anyone able to point me in the right direction. Thanks!

I changed my foglight bulbs on a 2000, so it should be pretty same for 2001. Basically you get under the front bumper and take out the plastic screws holding the plastic covers on the left and right. You will then see the foglights, mine wasnt secured at all and was shaky, and the connector holders broke too when I tried to take out the foglight assembly. Generally, it was a pain in the butt, but doable. Once I spent 40 mins on the first foglight, it only took me 10-15 mins to do the second one.

Sorry I dont have a write up, but there should be one somewhere, maybe someone could step in with a URL or something.

there is one 10mm bolt holding it in from the bottom. Then two tabs on the top held in by white clips/sockets. You'll have jimmy it around with a flat head and work it out. Then just undo the connector, twist it open in the middle, unplug the bulb and replace and reverse the process

If you go to cardomain.com and search for Maxima and find member Philip C. Masiello's Nissan: 'PMAS76'
he is number 101, he has a great instructions on how to change the foglight bulb. The only thing is, he has a 2002 and I'm not sure if all 5th gen Maxima's fogs are done the same. Also, I have the PIAA H3 super plasmas that I exchanged from the stock bulbs and looks nice. I had the PIAA H3 extreme whites for about a week and I changed them since I have HIDs. The thing about the white connector, I used a small flat head screw driver and pushed on the part that's "jagged", you'll see, it came right apart. Good luck.

a lil OT but dont get ebay fogs... POS bulbs that'll burn in two months.

Difficult part of changing fog bulbs is getting under the car and ripping the splash gaurd apart which isn't difficult at all.
