Blue LED's in tranny indicators of guage cluster (*pics*)

Well, I tackled another blue LED mod today. I took apart the guage cluster to install some super-white #74 bulbs for the guages. Didn't like the light output, so I had to use the stock bulbs again. The super-white bulbs gave off a dim "blue" like light. They just weren't "bright" enough! Anyway, since I had the cluster removed, I changed the LED's in the transmission indicators. I removed and installed some 5mm super-bright blue LED's. It was getting dark, so right now I only have some night pics. I willl take some daylight pics tomorrow. I tried changing the turn signals indicators to blue, but couldn't to get it to work. I'll tackle that again tomorrow, also. But, here are some pics. Assume all the LED's to look like the "P" indicator. Very Bright!!!!

The red 'brake' light makes it look out of place.

Yeah, I bought this car last year for a steal which only had 28K miles on it! I had to give up my '95, though. But, it was well worth it! I got the woodgrain bezel from Custommaxima. It took some time getting it when I ordered it, because their suppliers is slowwww in getting the parts to the customer. But, overall, I like it. Thanks for the props!

Wow! I started this thread about two months ago. I received few responses, so I thought maybe it wasn't a great deal to anyone. I think it looks much better than the ugly green LED in there. If anyone is interested in how-to, PM me and I'll be glad to explain. Thanks!

No, these are real. I happened to snap this pic when changing my smoked SE tails to the 2K2-2K3 Euro tails. Check out my homepage for additional pics.
