%$#@!&$%^%

Waitin for another part for the max.
Last night it got a little hot.
This morning it almost overheated.
At lunch I refilled the radiator.
Took for a drive.
The temp went to HOT very quickly.
Popped the hood, the hose from the radiator to the front of the engine is busted/not hooked up right or something. It put all the coolant all over my belts.
Im pi$$ed!
Tired of buying parts for this old piece of car!
No matter what I do I just runs like crap, its always something!
So I've decided...I've spent at least two grand on this car. I can't keep puttin money in it. It was supposed to be the car that I got til I could save some money for another car!!!!

Im going to completly fix this car!!!
I don't care anymore.
Ive driven this thing when it was spitting out black smoke, leaky sunroof, power steering failure, hanging broken muffler, there is almost nothing left to go wrong, and if there is I'm sure I'll find it.

First I fix
Then I tune
Then I go too far!
Then boom!

Lets hear some support. Are you guys with me or have I lost it.
If I lost it can you please find it?

It's just a hose. How many eons has those hoses been on the car?? Can't blame them for blowing if they are 10 years old.

Yeah
But sometimes you just need a break from always having something wrong with the car.
It's like having a girlfriend(but I can acatually fix this)!
I was just so mad from being a step away from actually being able to save $ while driving this car.
Filling up at 2.41 every two days isn't helping.
So that just compounded the fact that I was so close.
It's cool thou, last night my mechanic took care of it. He was pretty mad thou, I took the car to him at 530pm. He wanted to go home.

You could try to save money by working on it yourself.

uh
I do!
The simple stuffil changes,sprak plugs,fluids.
The stuff that could be expensive I let the mechanic look at first. Usually he tells me what to do and I just go for it. But if it's during the week I need my car to go to work so I can afford parts for my car and gas.
Wow now Im really depressed!

So I got the new EGR solenoid.
But the thing is still at vaccum all the time.
It's supposed to turn on around 1500rpms and stop increasing at about 3200.
Mine is at full vaccum all the time.
N E one know what im missing, is there a procedure to do this?

dude, everything is prone to mechanical failure, especially if it's old! we've all been down this road before, but there's really nothing you can do except take problems as they come, and know that no matter what, they're gonna happen. before I got my honda, I had an old S-10 blazer which was nothing but problems, but the biggest problem of all was I was too damn broke to fix it. it literally caught on fire twice. had I not been smart enough to carry a fire extinguisher, it would have been toasted. then a hole formed in the catalytic converter and caused it to run like s--- and burn gas like you couldn't believe. but I kept driving it until the voltage regulator went bad and overcharged by about 30 volts. so on top of needing a $100 catalytic converter, I now needed a $75 alternator. and I didn't have money for any of it. every other damn day that thing broke down and I had to leave it on the side of the road. one time I was so pi--ed that I kicked in the door panel, busted the drivers side mirror, broke off the fog lights, and busted the headlights and front grille because it left me stranded. all you have is a leaking radiator hose. we've all seen this at one point or another. these maximas are not new, you can't possibly expect them to not give you any problems! mine had the original belts on it until the alternator belt started to fray, and one of the steel wires wrapped around the alternator pulley and completely tore the belt off. I continued to drive to work with the battery light on, hoping and praying that I actually made it.

just relax. no matter what, any car that's 17 or 18 years old is gonna need money put into it! but after all is said and done, these cars are awesome and you'll be paid back in the performance they'll give you.

and really, I hope things start going better for you.

THANX

I was just having a bad week. That didn't help.
I guess it's no big deal.
Although I'm now a pro at being stranded. I always have a guitar in my car, or a gameboy, magazines. Anything to pass the time.
I put the new hose on. So now I'm just waiting.
Still haven't figured whats up the EGR solenoid.
