when replacing CV boot on a 96 auto, necessary to drain trans. fluid?
i read on some website that the transmission fluid was drained but it was on a manual. is it necessary to drain for an auto? thanks
i was reading the motavate site, and it said to pry out the inner boot and it wasn't pictured. can you elaborate on that? thanks much.
i will attempt to change mine this weekend. i'm sick of paying mechanics $150 a side to do it when the parts cost $11 each around here.
