Dusty Interior

Is there any way to prevent dust from getting in through the AC Vents? Lately I've been having to clean my interior daily to keep the dust from turning my black interior gray. I don't believe that the maxima has an air filter for that purpose. Someone prove me wrong. 97 Max SE..

I always thought there was a filter but I never bothered to replace it. Really?

this only happens when you have the 'outside air' selected on your AC controlls instead of 'recirculate' correct? if this is the case then there really isnt anything you can do b/c its just the dirty air from the outside coming in...

Make sure the Recirculate button is pushed in and keep your windows closed. That's about all you can do.

During the summer, I use the recirculate button almost all the time. The reason for this? I don't want my air compressor to have to keep cooling hot air from the outside. The only exception would be when it is fogging up at night while it is raining or something. You have to use outside air to get it to defog.

This keeps the dust out of the inside as best as possible. However, down here, there is a lot of pollen that seems to find its way in somehow.
